Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Parallel Hours (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Parallel Hours LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service Does

Parallel Hours is a time tracking and developer KPI platform. It allows you to track time spent on tasks, log AI usage, view productivity metrics, and connect AI tools via a REST API. The Service is currently in early access.

3. Your Account

  • You must provide a valid email address and verify it to activate your account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and API tokens secure.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the API in ways that degrade service for others.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code.

5. Your Data

You own the data you enter into the Service (tasks, time entries, notes, and similar content). We do not claim ownership of your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we store and handle it.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@parallelhours.io.

6. Free Tier and Paid Plans

A free tier is available with usage limits. Paid plans are available for additional features. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing paid subscribers will not have pricing changed mid-subscription period without consent.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uptime. The Service is provided during early access "as is" and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARALLEL HOURS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
